Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Officer at Oljabet Hospital, located in Nyahururu, Kenya. The Medical Officer will oversee the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients, perform routine and specialized medical procedures, and support the healthcare team in providing excellent patient care. The role also involves collaborating with other physicians and staff to ensure coordinated and efficient service delivery. In addition, the successful candidate will play an active role in mentoring and training junior staff, contributing to knowledge sharing and quality improvement initiatives within the hospital.

Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Medicine and Patient Care, ensuring attention to detail, precision, and empathy in delivering services
- Proficiency in Surgery and related medical procedures, with demonstrated experience performing minor and major surgeries
- Ability to effectively collaborate and work alongside other Physicians and healthcare professionals
- Experience and capability in training and mentoring healthcare personnel
- Relevant academic qualifications, including a recognized degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB or equivalent)
- Valid medical practitioner license according to regulatory standards in Kenya
- Strong organizational, analytical, and critical decision-making skills
- Valid Indemnity certificate
- ACLS/BLS Certification
- Commitment to community service and working within underserved healthcare settings
