About the role
- The MD will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing monthly financial reports, leading cross-functional meetings, and presenting key findings to the senior management team (SMT). Additionally, the MD will work closely with stakeholders to address and resolve any operational challenges, escalate country-specific risks, and ensure alignment with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and the ability to navigate complex, multicultural environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing Country Managers
- Weekly engagements with country managers for country updates
- Follow-up on any issues that require de-bottlenecking for Country Managers
- Managing Cost Accountant for Country Management
- Review of Monthly P&L and management reports for countries, engaging relevant stakeholders.
- Leading cross-functional weekly meetings to review the country’s monthly report.
- Lead presentation of country monthly report weekly
- Escalating country risks to SMT.
- Travel regularly to the countries to engage with local teams, assess operations, and strengthen relationships.
Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, PMP) are a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably in a multinational or diverse regional setting.
- Proven track record of managing and leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and P&L management.
- Demonstrated experience in managing country operations or regional business units.
- Experience in presenting to and engaging with senior management teams (SMT) and stakeholders.
