Job Purpose:
The Card Services Technical Lead is responsible for implementing all Card Services by integrating channels to the Way4 Switch. This includes managing a team of engineers to build scalable RESTful APIs, application logic, and integrations with internal and external systems to deliver efficient card services to customers.
The Key Responsibilities (Duties):
- Design and implement card management solutions and servicesÂ
- Develop and implement APIs and microservices for banking system integrationÂ
- Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams to ensure a seamless user experienceÂ
- Ensure compliance with PCI/DSS standardsÂ
- Maintain high system availability, security, and performanceÂ
- Design scalable and reliable components for current and future needsÂ
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in .NETÂ
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs in C#Â
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and performance testsÂ
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs to ensure system stabilityÂ
- Manage deployment processes and support production releasesÂ
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issuesÂ
- Collaborate with frontend and mobile app developers on API specificationsÂ
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and Azure DevOps task breakdownsÂ
Qualifications
Key Technical and Leadership Competencies Required For Success In The Role:
- Expertise in C#, Java, .NET, REST/SOAP APIsÂ
- Deep knowledge of ATM Switch (WAY4), Finacle Core BankingÂ
- Familiarity with PCI/DSS, ISO 8583, OAuth, JWTÂ
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDBÂ
- Strong system design and microservices architecture skillsÂ
- Experience with Kafka, gRPC, and API managementÂ
- Agile mindset, strong communication, and collaboration skillsÂ
Experience Requirements:
- 8+ years in software developmentÂ
- Experience in financial services and card systemsÂ
- Proven track record in system integration and API developmentÂ
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Must-Have: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, Computer ScienceÂ
- Nice to Have: Certifications in cloud technologies, DevOps, or security standardsÂ
