We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Assistant to join our accounting team. The successful candidate will provide essential support in managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.   • Financial Record Maintenance: Accurately record all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, in the company’s accounting software.
  • Invoice Processing: Prepare, issue, and process invoices, ensuring timely payments and resolving any discrepancies with vendors or clients
  • Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements with the general ledger to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, providing accurate data to support decision-making processes.
  • Data Entry: Maintain and update financial records, ensuring all data is entered accurately and promptly.
  • Compliance Support: Assist with compliance reporting, ensuring all financial practices adhere to local regulations and company policies.
  • Communication: Liaise with vendors and clients to address billing issues and provide necessary documentation, maintaining positive relationships.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and managing correspondence related to accounting matters.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, and CPA-K.
  • Experience: Prior experience or internships in accounting or finance is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Integrity: Demonstrates honesty and ethical behaviour in all financial dealings.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to develop accounting knowledge and skills continuously.
