The successful candidate will provide essential support in managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Maintenance: Accurately record all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, in the company’s accounting software.
- Invoice Processing: Prepare, issue, and process invoices, ensuring timely payments and resolving any discrepancies with vendors or clients
- Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements with the general ledger to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, providing accurate data to support decision-making processes.
- Data Entry: Maintain and update financial records, ensuring all data is entered accurately and promptly.
- Compliance Support: Assist with compliance reporting, ensuring all financial practices adhere to local regulations and company policies.
- Communication: Liaise with vendors and clients to address billing issues and provide necessary documentation, maintaining positive relationships.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and managing correspondence related to accounting matters.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, and CPA-K.
- Experience: Prior experience or internships in accounting or finance is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
