Imports and Logistics Coordinator Job. Logistics Jobs In Kenya

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in import operations or international logistics
  • Solid knowledge of INCOTERMS, trade compliance, and customs procedures
  • Skilled in MS Excel; ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Zoho) preferred
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Experience with freight forwarding tools and trade documentation a plus
  • Negotiation skills with vendors and carriers
  • Coordinate end-to-end imports, including documentation and shipment tracking
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of all import/export documents
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, suppliers, and customs for timely clearance
  • Monitor and resolve shipment delays or discrepancies
  • Arrange inland transportation and optimize delivery schedules
  • Update ERP systems with shipment data and assist with inventory checks
  • Maintain compliance records and follow regulatory updates
  • Act as liaison between suppliers, 3PLs, internal departments, and finance
