HR Manager Job Nairobi, Kenya

We are seeking an experienced and people-focused HR Manager to oversee the day-to-day human resources functions of our organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in, employee engagement, performance management, talent acquisition and HR operations. Experience working in a marketing, advertising, or creative agency is preferred, with the ability to manage a dynamic and fast-paced workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with company goals.
- Foster a positive work culture through employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters professionally and confidentially.
- Oversee attendance, leave management, payroll coordination, and HR documentation.
- Manage performance appraisal processes and support employee development plans.
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives, training programs, and career growth opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain employee records and HR reports with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Partner with department heads to understand workforce needs and support organizational growth.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and induction of new employees.
- Drive employee wellness, recognition, and team-building initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a marketing, advertising, or creative agency.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, and labor laws.
- Professional HR certifications are an added advantage
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the relevant Kenya laws.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, conflict resolution, interpersonal communication, and decision making skills.
- Ability to implement change and manage teams.
- Excellent organization and administrative skills.
