Job Summary

Rafiki wa Maendeleo Trust (RWMT) is seeking an experienced HR and OperationsCoordinator to manage human resource functions and oversee day-to-day administrative and operational systems. The role ensures compliance with Kenyan labour laws, efficient operations, and strong people-management practices in support of RWMT’s mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • PCoordinate recruitment, onboarding, contracts, performance appraisals, and staff exits
  • Manage staff records, payroll data, leave, and HR compliance
  • Handle employee relations, grievances, and staff welfare
  • Oversee office administration, facilities, fleet, security, and procurement processes
  • Support ICT operations through designated staff or consultantsPrepare and submit monthly HR and operations reports

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Administration, or related field
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar HR/Operations role
  • Registered member of a recognized professional body (current subscription)
  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools
  • NGO experience is an added advantage
