Hotel Storekeeper Job Elysian Resort Nairobi, Kenya

They are seeking a professional and experienced Hotel Storekeeper to oversee inventory operations, ensure accurate stock records, manage the receipt and issuance of supplies, maintain optimal stock levels, and support the efficient operation of all hotel departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods for quality, quantity, and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update all stock movements.
• Issue supplies only against authorized requisitions and maintain proper documentation.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment with the Purchasing Department.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with records.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and stock rotation using the FIFO (First In. First Out) method.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock consumption reports.
• Adhere to hotel policies, procurement procedures, and inventory control standards at all times.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Stores Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in storekeeping, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of inventory management, stock control procedures, and the FIFO inventory system.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory or hotel management systems. Strong organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills with high attention to detail.
