Supervision of Security Team:

  • Lead, train, and manage the security staff, ensuring they are aware of and follow all security protocols.
  • Provide guidance and support to the security personnel on shift, including managing assignments, monitoring performance, and ensuring discipline.

Monitoring and Patrolling:

  • Oversee the security of the premises by performing regular rounds and ensuring that all areas are secured, including guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house operations.
  • Monitor CCTV systems to ensure a safe environment and promptly address any security concerns.

Guest & Staff Safety:

  • Respond to emergencies and security incidents promptly, ensuring the safety of all guests and staff members.
  • Implement and manage procedures for guest safety, including the handling of lost items and guest inquiries related to security.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed records of security-related incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities.
  • Report to management regularly about security issues, incidents, and improvements.

Coordination with Authorities:

  • Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services when required for assistance with incidents, investigations, or other security matters.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with hotel security policies, local regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Maintain an updated knowledge of security practices and industry trends.

Customer Service:

  • Provide high-level customer service while maintaining the security of the property.
  • Ensure that security team members are polite, approachable, and professional in their interactions with guests and staff.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a security supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality or security industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage emergencies efficiently.
  • Proficiency in the use of security equipment (CCTV systems, alarms, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of security procedures, risk management, and safety protocols.
