Our client, a premium lodge, is seeking a Food & Beverage Operations Lead who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations across all dining and beverage outlets. Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, and banqueting services.
- Preparing and monitoring departmental budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
- Manage the F&B staff, including hiring, mentoring, and conducting performance reviews.
- Contribute in Planning, designing, and updating innovative menus to meet guest preferences and industry trends.
- Coordinate and oversee special events, banquets, and functions, delegating duties to supervisors as needed.
- Monitor inventory, manage cost control, and ensure efficient procurement of supplies.
- Carry out regular departmental meetings to share updates, address challenges, and maintain high morale.
- Develop, review, and implement standard operating procedures to ensure consistency across outlets.
- Act as a professional point of contact for both individual and corporate clients.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards, as well as compliance with hotel policies.
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to promote food and beverage offerings and events.
- Review guest feedback and implement immediate corrective actions to enhance satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for operational and management purposes.
- Implement hands-on management approach to stay updated on daily operations.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Lodge/Hotel Management.
Job Specifications and Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Food and Service Management, Business, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in a food and beverage management role, preferably in a luxury or business hotel.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain high standards of hygiene, quality, and productivity
- Passion for culinary trends and a deep understanding of food and beverage service
- Experience in cost management, budget controls and revenue maximization
- Familiar with ERP, Hotel systems and MS Office software.Â
