Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Keep the workshop running smoothly through disciplined scheduling, supervision, and timely job completion.

Quality & Standards

• Ensure the workshop is egg-cellent, with no fowl play on safety, workmanship, or compliance.

Problem Solving

• Peck your problems away by identifying recurring faults, driving root-cause fixes, and improving uptime.

Team Leadership

• Manage the pecking order fairly and firmly across mechanics, technicians, fabricators, and support staff.

Technical Competence

• Stay abreast of all technical updates across fleet, generators, and workshop-managed fixed assets.

Performance Focus

• Be ready to egg-cel through strong KPIs, reporting, cost control, and practical improvements.

Qualifications

• Im-peck-able skills in workshop control, maintenance planning, and team leadership.
• Eggs-pert knowledge of automotive, mechanical, plant, or generator maintenance.
• Ability to hatch a plan and follow it through with discipline and urgency.
• Proven ability to operate in a demanding operational role.
• Strong judgment, presence, and willingness to ruffle feathers when necessary to protect standards.
• At least 7 years’ relevant experience in workshop, fleet, plant, or maintenance work with 3 years in management.
• A Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plant Engineering, or a related field.
