mZawadi Loyalty Group is expanding its gamification and digital engagement ecosystem. We are looking for a creative, skilled, and passionate Gaming Developer to build mobile and web-based games that power loyalty experiences, brand activations, consumer promotions, and interactive campaigns for top brands across Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy mobile and web-based casual games (puzzles, arcade, trivia, rewards games).
• Integrate games with mZawadi’s loyalty engine, voucher APIs, and reward mechanisms.
• Build gamified user journeys that drive engagement, retention, and measurable ROI for clients.
• Collaborate with UI/UX, product, and marketing teams to deliver immersive brand experiences.
• Optimize games for performance, scaling, and device compatibility.
• Maintain, update, and enhance existing game features.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in Unity, Phaser, C#, JavaScript, or similar game engines.
• Proven track record of developing mobile/web games (portfolio required).
• Experience integrating APIs, leaderboards, multiplayer features, and reward systems.
• Creativity in designing game mechanics, user flows, and animations.
• Understanding of gamification principles is an added advantage.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with telco gaming platforms, SMS/USSD game flows, or casual esports competitions.
• Knowledge of loyalty programs, digital rewards, or Martech platforms.
• Backend experience: Node.js, Firebase, Python, or similar.
