As our Fullstack Developer, you will take end-to-end ownership of the development lifecycle—from back-end data processing to front-end user interface. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize our current ecommerce platform, ensuring a high-performance, secure, and engaging e-commerce platform for our customers.

  • Develop and enhance both front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (PHP, MySQL) components.
  • Customize CS-CART themes, plugins, and add-ons to meet Hypa’s unique e-commerce needs.
  • Implement performance improvements on server-side scripts, database queries, and frontend assets.
  • Monitor site performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and continually refine code for efficiency.
  • Integrate third-party solutions such as payment gateways, ERP systems, Third Party APIs and marketing tools.
  • Maintain existing custom modules, ensuring compatibility with new features, security patches, and platform updates.
  • Partner with product engineers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code to support development initiatives.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and champion best practices within the engineering team.
  • Implement robust security measures to safeguard customer data and payment transactions.
  • Stay up-to-date on data protection regulations and apply patches and updates as needed.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of code, configurations, and processes.
  • Provide regular project updates, risk assessments, and recommended solutions to the management team.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3+ years of hands-on PHP development
  • Proven track record working with CS-CART or similar ecommerce architectural backends(theme customization, add-on development, and performance tuning).
  • In-depth knowledge of CS-Cart architecture, add-on development, and module customization.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (knowledge of modern frameworks like React, Vue,or Angular is a plus).
  • Familiarity with MySQL, RESTful APIs, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Adept at diagnosing and resolving complex performance, security, and scalability challenges.
  • Experience with debugging tools and performance testing methodologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment while juggling multiple priorities.
