Responsibilities

Specifically, duties and responsibilities will include:

• Implementing the financial management policies and strategies to guide financial operations and reporting;
• Implementing Annual Work Plans, Annual Procurement Plans and Cash Flow Plans for the division;
• Providing support in the preparation and analysis of the ODPP budget estimates for the purpose of financial allocation;
• Aligning expenditure schedules with the available resources;
• Monitoring cash flow plans to ensure the availability of funds for the day-to-day activities of ODPP; and
• Processing of Authority–to–Incur Expenditure (AIE) in the IFMIS.

Qualifications

for appointment to this grade, an applicant must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in either of the following disciplines: Business Administration (Finance option) or Accounting, or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Certified Public Accountant – CPA Part II or its equivalent qualifications; and
• Meet Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
