Our client, a prominent distributor of motorcycles in Kenya with a strong presence in the market, is seeking to hire a field sales officer. The main scope of this position is to expand motorcycle sales to the dealers (Wholesales) and from the dealers to the customers (Retail Sales).

Key Internal Relationships

• Sales department
• Service department
• Parts department

Key External Relationships

• Authorized Honda dealers
• Motorcycle customers, both existing and potential
• Roadside mechanics and Honda service points
• Corporate Clients

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support the dealers in the region assigned through various approved actions to increase their motorcycle sales.
• Monitor dealer stock movement and negotiate for Whole sales from HMK.
• Corporate sales
• Support dealer development by way of assisting in scouting of suitable new 3S dealers
• Gathering of marketing intelligence in the region assigned.
• Issuing regular reports as directed and expected by your superior.
• Sourcing and closing on corporate deals
• Expanding the market share for Honda motorcycle Kenya
• Proposing and implementing marketing strategies
• Performing any other roles as directed by your superior.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A University Degree/Diploma will be an added advantage.
• At least 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar position or sales in motorcycles.
• Must be proficient in Computers
• Experience in corporate sales will be an added advantage.
• Proactive and Confident.
• Experience in corporate sales will be highly appreciated.
• The associate should have a good understanding of sales and marketing especially in the motorcycle industry.
• They should be a person requiring minimum supervision and able to meet deadlines
• They should be willing to work anywhere in the country
