Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships:

  • Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including churches, Christian organisations, government agencies, global Bible translation networks, and donors and represent BTL at national and international forums, advocating for Bible translation and literacy as tools for spiritual transformation.
  • Organisational Development & Culture: Foster a Christ-centred culture of collaboration, servant leadership, and accountability, providing strategic direction to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with BTL’s biblical mandate, promoting talent development, discipleship, mentorship, and succession planning.

Risk Management & Christian Integrity:

  • Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in a manner that upholds
  • Christian integrity. Identify and mitigate risks affecting organisational sustainability, reputation, and mission impact while overseeing adherence to governance best practices and biblical financial accountability frameworks.

Are you the Ideal Leader?

  • This role requires a committed Christian with a deep passion for Bible translation, with a minimum of 10 years experience in a non-profit Christian mission-driven organization.

You will in particular have;

  • Sound understanding of biblical principles, Christian values with deep conviction to the Great Commission
  • Proven ability to engage with high-level Christian stakeholders, including donors, mission agencies, church leaders, and government entities.
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills rooted in Christian values.
  • Experience in multicultural and multilingual faith-based settings and working with indigenous language communities.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit governance best practices, including compliance with regulatory bodies.
  • Strong background in fundraising, including grant writing and major donor engagement.
  • The successful candidate will be in possession of a Bachelors degree in Theology, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Leadership, or a related field, a Master’s degree in these areas will be an added advantage.
