Job Description

Transportation Duties:

  • Drive staff, visitors, or goods to various destinations as assigned.
  • Ensure timely pickups and deliveries based on operational schedules.
  • Maintain a log of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle condition.

Vehicle Maintenance:

  • Conduct daily checks on vehicle condition (oil, fuel, tires, lights, brakes).
  • Ensure the vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and serviced on time.
  • Report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly for necessary action.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Obey all traffic laws and road safety regulations at all times.
  • Ensure the safety of passengers and cargo throughout the trip.
  • Maintain updated vehicle documents (insurance, inspection, logbook, etc.).

Administrative Support:

  • Assist with errands such as delivering documents, picking up supplies, or bank-related tasks.
  • Support loading and offloading of goods where applicable.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while representing the organization.

Job Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License (Class B, C, E or appropriate for role)
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar driving role (experience in logistics or fuel delivery is an added advantage)
  • Certificate of Good Conduct
  • Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus
  • Defensive driving and First Aid certification is an advantage
