Sales and Revenue Generation

  • Identify and target potential business customers for FTTH services.
  • Proactive approach prospective clients through cold calling, referrals, events and networking.
  • Close sales deals, negotiate terms and secure contracts for FTTH services.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to drive loyalty and repeat business.
  • Understand customer needs, propose suitable solutions, and provide excellent after-sales support.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customer queries, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
  • Conduct periodic check-ins with clients to ensure satisfaction with services.

Market Analysis and Strategy

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor offerings, and potential opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to Regional Sales Team Leader/Sales Manager on
  • product and service enhancements based on customer insights.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to capture market share in assigned territories

Pipeline Management

  • Maintain a robust pipeline of potential customers using CRM tools.
  • Track all sales activities, opportunities, and client communications accurately in the CRM system.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and updates on all leads to convert them into paying customers.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for submission to the Regional Sales Team Leader/Sales Manager.
  • Document all customer interactions, agreements, and feedback for future reference.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless installation and activation of services.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on promotional activities and campaigns targeting business customers.
  • Partner with the customer support team to address client concerns and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Sales Targets

  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue and subscription targets.
  • Number of new FTTH connections signed per month.

Customer Acquisition

  • Number of leads generated and successfully converted into customers.
  • Acquisition of high-value accounts (large enterprises, SMEs).

Retention and Customer Satisfaction

  • Customer retention rate and renewal of contracts.
  • Positive customer feedback and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
  • Pipeline Management
  • Quality and volume of sales pipeline maintained in the CRM.
  • Accuracy of sales forecasting and reporting.

Market Penetration

  • Expansion into new business areas or industries within the region.
  • Market share growth for FTTH services.

Operational Efficiency

  • Timely submission of sales reports and updates.
  • Compliance with company sales processes and policies
  • Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in sales or telecommunications will be an added advantage
  • 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the ISP or telecommunications industry
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of FTTH solutions, internet technologies, and related services
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales tools.
  • Excellent understanding of customer lifecycle management
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • High level of customer service orientation and problem-solving ability.
  • Results-driven, with a self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of customer needs in the Kenyan market.
  • Resilience and persistence in a competitive sales environment.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
