The Opportunity:

Bio Food is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Direct Procurement Lead to support and strengthen the procurement function. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing direct procurement activities, imports coordination, supplier management, and ensuring uninterrupted material availability to support production operations. The ideal candidate must have strong FMCG or manufacturing procurement experience, excellent negotiation skills, and hands-on imports and clearing coordination experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and technical items.
• Ensure timely availability of production materials to avoid stock-outs and production interruptions.
• Coordinate procurement planning in line with production forecasts and demand plans.
• Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, payment terms, lead times, and service levels.
• Coordinate import procurement activities and ensure timely shipment follow-up.
• Work closely with clearing agents, transporters, and suppliers to ensure smooth cargo movement.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, SOPs, and approval processes.
• Track and report procurement KPIs including OTIF, cost savings, supplier performance, and stock availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CIPS or KISM is an added advantage.
• Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in procurement within FMCG or manufacturing environment.
