About the Role

We’re seeking a dedicated and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. You will serve as a system administrator and work closely with the Head of Infrastructure to design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and automation frameworks. This role is ideal for someone with strong cloud infrastructure skills, experience with modern DevOps tools, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a high-impact role that supports the foundational infrastructure of our AI platforms across development and production environments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Linux-based server environments to ensure high performance and uptime
• Support the configuration, scaling, and reliability of infrastructure used across multiple projects
• Set up and maintain automated deployment pipelines and development environments
• Implement and monitor backup systems and disaster recovery protocols
• Support security protocols and implement protective measures to safeguard infrastructure and data
• Collaborate with developers and project teams to optimize performance and streamline deployment
• Automate key infrastructure tasks and maintain organized technical documentation
• Monitor infrastructure health and respond proactively to system alerts or anomalies

Requirements:

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Infrastructure, or Systems role
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong experience managing Linux-based environments and virtual servers
• Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools

Technical Skills

• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar)
• Solid understanding of version control, deployment workflows, and systems administration
• Skilled in CI/CD pipeline creation and management
• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance
• Experience with application monitoring and uptime/performance alerting tools
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills, especially in remote settings
• Team-oriented with a proactive and accountable work ethic
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, across time zones and agile environment
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Bonus: Spoken proficiency in Arabic

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting cloud-based infrastructure in a startup or fast-growth tech company
• Exposure to AI-based systems, scalable platform environments, or SaaS products
• Background supporting production infrastructure across multiple regions
