Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage patient schedules in the dermatology clinic to maximize provider time, patient flow, and revenue generation
• Ensure accurate input of diagnoses, treatments, procedures, payments, and patient data into relevant databases, keeping patient files up to date at all times
• Coordinate the provision of comprehensive dermatological care, including diagnosis and
• management of common and complex skin conditions
• Coordinate patient flow for dermatology outpatient services to ensure efficiency and patient satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to dermatological medical services
• Ensure timely documentation of patient encounters and maintain comprehensive medical notes for each case
• Uphold the highest standards of clinical quality and patient safety, adhering to established protocols, ethical guidelines, and evidence-based practices in dermatology

Qualifications and skills

• Higher National Diploma in Dermatology and Venereology (or equivalent advanced/postgraduate qualification) from a recognized institution
• A foundational Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery
• Current registration and valid practicing license from the Clinical Officers Council (COC) of Kenya
• Relevant accreditation/registration in dermatology specialization
