Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Cyber Security Engineer located in Nairobi County, Kenya but some work from home is acceptable. The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security threats, ensuring the security of network systems, monitoring and managing application security, and conducting vulnerability assessments. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing cybersecurity policies and procedures, and collaborating with IT teams to maintain security standards.
Qualifications
- Application Security and Cybersecurity skills
- Network Security and Information Security skills
- Experience in conducting Vulnerability Assessments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Experience in the tech industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
