On behalf of our client, a leading financial services institution, we are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Risk Analyst to assess and monitor credit risk exposure across their loan portfolio. The successful candidate will analyze financial data, prepare risk reports, and support decision-making processes to minimize potential losses.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze credit applications and financial statements to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Develop and maintain credit risk models and scoring systems
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning indicators
- Prepare comprehensive risk assessment reports for management review
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to establish appropriate credit limits
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk policies
- Conduct industry and market research to identify emerging risks
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis or risk management
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and statistical software (R/SAS preferred)
- Knowledge of banking regulations and credit risk frameworks
- Professional certification (FRM, CFA) is an advantage
