  • Support in the development of content for social media posts, video, podcasts and other content that promotes the work of IJM.
  • Plan, promote, and execute events such as press conferences, training and community engagement programs, ensuring all logistics are managed effectively.
  • Track various media outlets to keep the organization informed on public perception and industry trends.
  • Assist in shaping and maintaining IJM brand identity and perception online and off line.
  • Support the execution of social media strategy, including content creation and scheduling.
  • Manage the digital archive and maintain an organized file-management system for images and videos, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
  • Work with cross functional teams to align communication strategy with program outcome
  • Perform other relevant tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the communications team.

Requirements

  • Degree in journalism or communications, marketing, public relations or any other related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Suite (particularly Premiere Pro, InDesign, illustrator, Photoshop) or equivalent.
  • Experience in graphic design, video production and photography.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate experience with social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
