Clerk of Works NGO Job

The South Nairobi Kajiado Field is seeking to employ a competent and experienced Clerk of Works (C.O.W.) to oversee the construction supervision of its proposed new Field Headquarters’ Offices, located off the Kiserian-Isinya Road in Kajiado County.

  • A minimum academic qualification of an Ordinary Diploma in Architectural and Building Construction or Civil and Building Works.
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ post-graduation experience in the supervision of building and civil works, including reinforced concrete and structural steelwork.
  • Ability to read and interpret Architectural, Structural, Civil, and Services drawings accurately.
  • Proven experience in monitoring the quality of all construction materials delivered to site, ensuring compliance with building specifications, including verification of concrete mixes used on-site.
  • Capable of resident site supervision, acting as the representative of both the Consultants and the Client in the execution and coordination of the construction works.
  • Proven ability to compile accurate and comprehensive daily and weekly site progress reports, ensuring timely updates to consultants and clients.
  • A dedicated, honest, and hands-on individual with a strong commitment to job responsibilities.

Must be available for a one (1) year contract, renewable subject to satisfactory performance.
