Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess:

• PhD in Accounting, Finance or related field;
• CPA (K) and
• Five (5) years’ experience in grade 14 or equivalent in the audit profession

OR

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field;
• CPA (K) and
• Seven (7) years’ experience in grade 14 or equivalent in the audit profession

In addition, all applicants must:

• Be conversant with Computerized Information Systems Audit (CISA)
• Be conversant with accounting, auditing and financial and reporting
• Be knowledgeable and experienced in working with computerized auditing packages
• Have wide experience in the management and processes of Institutions of higher learning
• Demonstrate leadership qualities
• Be conversant with the requirements of Kenyan Constitution, National Laws and Policies governing University education
• Have a track record in the management of change and translation of ideas into valued outputs
• Be of the highest ethical standards, integrity and professionalism
• Be a member of a relevant Professional Body
