Certification & Capacity Building Officer Job WRSC

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carrying out **sensitization of the public** on the operations, roles, responsibilities, accessibility and benefits of WRS.
  • Undertaking **capacity building** of relevant stakeholders in relation to the agricultural commodities.
  • Carrying out relevant training programs as scheduled.
  • Communicating training programs to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Preparing reports on training programs undertaken.
  • Consolidating attendance records of participants.
  • Checking validity and authenticity of **certificates issued under the Act**.
  • Preparing reports on the performance and operation of **Collateral Managers**.

Person Specifications

Mandatory requirements:

  • Have served in the grade of Certification and Compliance Officer II, for a minimum period of **three (3) years**.
  • Have a Bachelor degree in any the following disciplines: **Education, Agriculture, Commerce, Operations Management, Business Administration** or equivalent qualifications.
  • Been Proficient in computer applications.
  • Have shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
