Qualifications

• A degree in Education.
• Registered with the Teachers Service Commission-Clearly Indicate your TSC registration number in your application.
• 2 years’ experience teaching in a Junior Secondary or Secondary school
• Mastery of office software (MS Word, Excel, and Power Point).
• Able and willing to live, work and travel in a fast-paced and insecure environment adhering to strict security guidelines.

Responsibilities

• lnstruction and Lesson Delivery- plan and teach lessons in line with the curriculum, using appropnate teaching methods to support student understanding and engagement.
• Assessment and Evaluation- prepare tests, assignments, and exams; mark and provide feedback; monitor and record students’ academic progress.
• Classroom Management – maintain discrpline, create a safe and inclusive leaming environment, and manage student behavior effectively.
• Student Support and Guidance- mentor and guide students on academic and personal development, identify learning difficulties, and refer cases where necessary.
• Professional and Administrative 0uties- attend staff meetings, prepare schemes of work and lesson plans, keep records, communicate with parents/guardians, and participate in school activities
