Backend Engineer Job SasaPay

- You will work within a cross-functional environment to build secure, scalable, and user-centric solutions that power our core product offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Architecture: Design and maintain scalable server-side logic and high-concurrency architectures.
- API Design: Build and optimize secure RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for web and mobile integrations.
- Performance Engineering: Implement caching strategies (e.g., Redis) and optimize database queries to ensure low-latency responses.
- State Management: Develop complex workflows, such as USSD session handling and asynchronous task processing.
- Code Quality: Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while enforcing standards through rigorous code reviews.
- Database Management: Architect relational schema designs and manage data migrations using ORMs and raw SQL where necessary.
- Collaboration: Partner with Frontend and Product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in backend development using high-level languages (Python, Go, or Ruby).
- Technical Depth: Strong proficiency in a major web framework and a deep understanding of MVC/MVT patterns.
- Data Modeling: Expert knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and performance tuning.
- API Ecosystems: Proven track record of building and documenting production-grade APIs.
- Testing & CI/CD: Experience with automated testing frameworks and version control (Git).
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
