Duties and Responsibilities

  • Providing Physiotherapy services to inpatients and outpatients in health institutions;
  • Assessing patient needs including rehabilitation;
  • Verifying and maintaining information and records relating to patients;
  • Screening, assessing and providing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy and hydrotherapy as per the patients/clients formulated treatment plan;
  • Collecting data for operational research
  • Sensitizing the community on Physiotherapy issues; and Preparing periodic reports.

Requirements for Appointment

  • Kenyan Citizen
  • Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution
  • Certificate of Registration from the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK); and
  • Current Certificate of practice from Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK).
  • Certificate in computer applications

  • Interested and qualified persons  should download and fill employment forms  available in the Siaya County Public Service Board website : www.cpsb.siaya.go.ke. And submit the same on or before 12th January, 2026 at 4 p.m. (Applicants should not attach any credentials in the job application form)

  • Clearance documents for purpose of complying with the provision of Chapter 6 of the constitution (KRA, HELB, C.I.D and CRB) will be presented during the interviews
  • Academic, professional credentials and Identification Card will be presented in original form during interviews.
