Key Responsibilities

Concept Design & Development

• Translate client needs into innovative architectural and interior design concepts.
• Develop layouts, sketches, mood boards, and 3D visualizations.
• Integrate functionality, aesthetics, and client requirements into design solutions.

Design Documentation

• Prepare architectural and interior design drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed layouts.
• Develop schedules for finishes, fixtures, and fittings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building codes and regulatory standards.

Client Engagement

• Meet with clients to understand project needs, budgets, and timelines.
• Translate client requirements into detailed design briefs.
• Provide professional advice on feasibility, regulations, and design solutions.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and construction teams.
• Supervise project progress from concept through to completion.
• Manage design revisions and ensure design integrity throughout the project lifecycle.

Site Supervision & Quality Control

• Conduct site visits to ensure construction aligns with approved designs.
• Review workmanship, finishes, and resolve design-related issues on site.

Budget & Timeline Management

• Work with project teams to align design scope with budgets.
• Support cost estimation and recommend cost-effective materials.
• Ensure project milestones and timelines are achieved.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in architectural design and interior design projects, preferably within a design-build environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or ArchiCAD, and 3D rendering tools.
• Strong understanding of building codes, design standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Professional registration or membership in a recognized architectural body is an added advantage.
