Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Processor to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in billing, invoice processing, or vendor management, who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, verify, and reconcile invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform day-to-day management of accounts payable transactions and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Monitor and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve billing queries.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist in month-end closing processes and generate reports as needed.
- Adapt quickly to various finance systems and tools relevant to AP processing.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related business course.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounts payable, billing, or a similar role.
- Experience in invoice processing or vendor management is a strong advantage.
- Analytical thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel (functions, formatting, data presentation).
- Internet-savvy with the ability to learn and navigate new software applications quickly.
- Capable of adapting to complex and shifting project requirements.
- Willing to work various shifts, including night shifts.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Kitengela, Athi River, or Mlolongo.
