Job Summary:

The Accounting Operations Analyst is responsible for executing key accounting processes including journal entries, cash reporting, monthly close tasks, and preparation of various financial reports. This role will work closely with the CFO and finance team to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent reporting that supports business operations and decision-making.

Journal Entries (JE):

  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries for Motus and AMEX accounts.
  • Process Chase journal entries biweekly.
  • Record payroll-related entries within 3 days of cash movements.
  • Prepare monthly fixed asset journal entries.

Cash and Reporting Activities:

  • Monitor and update daily cash from bank transactions in QuickBooks.
  • Send daily cash report and prior day detail by 7:00 AM CST.
  • Post rolling cash and reconcile by 10:00 AM CST.
  • Prepare backlog reports weekly (due Mondays by 1:00 PM).
  • Prepare and submit the Weekly Scorecard every Friday by 5:00 PM.

Month-End Close:

  • Support monthly close within 3 days of month-end.
  • Submit RM EORs within 4 days and other EORs within 6 days of month-end.
  • Update reporting packages monthly (Pre-ME).
  • Coordinate with departments for accurate expenses by region and department

Other Key Tasks:

  • Prepare monthly commission reporting.
  • Maintain headcount metrics (biweekly).
  • Deliver commissions reporting by Wednesday noon, the week before payout.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
  • 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or financial operations (junior-level
  • acceptable).
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Strong Excel skills (including formulas and templates).
  • Experience with journal entries and financial reconciliations.
  • Knowledge of month-end closing procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Work Schedule:

Must be available to work U.S. business hours (CST) for collaboration with internal team
