Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to provide financial leadership, ensure compliance, and drive strategic decision-making in a fast- growing fintech environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Manage reconciliations (bank, mobile money, loan systems)
- Oversee loan transactions (disbursements, repayments, interest, fees)
- Ensure statutory compliance (PAYE, VAT, NSSF, SHIF)
- Support budgeting, forecasting & financial reporting
- Strengthen internal controls & audit processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
- CPA (K) – Completed (Mandatory)
- 3-5 years’ experience in accounting/finance
- Fintech / Microfinance / SACCO experience is an added advantage
- Strong IFRS & statutory compliance knowledge Advanced Excel & reporting skills
