3D Designer Intern Job

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, imaginative individual to sharpen their 3D skills while contributing to real-world campaigns across Kenya.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing 3D visuals for event setups, brand installations, stage designs, and roadshow activations
• Convert creative concepts into detailed 3D mockups using tools like SketchUp, 3ds Max, Blender, or similar
• Support the team in interpreting client briefs and translating them into experiential spatial designs
• Work collaboratively with graphic designers, operations, and client service teams
• Make edits and revisions based on feedback
• Keep files organized and assist with rendering for presentations

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Proficiency in 3D design software (e.g., SketchUp, Blender, 3ds Max, Rhino, Cinema 4D)
• Strong portfolio showcasing 3D event setups or environmental design
• Good understanding of spatial awareness, materials, textures, and lighting
• Basic understanding of branding and visual communication
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field

Preferred/Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience in events, exhibitions, or set design
• Knowledge of rendering engines (V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, etc.)
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
• Animation or walkthrough skills are a plus
