Senior Legal Officer – Grade XII Job MMUST
Legal Jobs. MMUST Jobs. Responsible for providing strategic legal advice to University management, reviewing and negotiating contracts and legal documents, advising on compliance and governance matters, conducting legal research, providing legal training, and protecting the University’s legal rights and interests. Requires an LL.M. or LL.B. with a Postgraduate Diploma in Law, extensive progressive legal experience, admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, membership in good standing with the Law Society of Kenya, and a valid practising certificate. The position is based in Kakamega and requires on-site work.

Successful candidate shall be required to submit valid clearances from the following bodies;
- Kenya Revenue Authority;
- Higher Education Loans Board;
- Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission;
- Directorate of Criminal Investigation (Certificate of Good Conduct);
- Registered Credit Reference Bureau.
They should also provide names, telephone numbers and contact addresses of three (3) referees.
