Quality Officer Job AGL

Looking for a quality control job in Kenya? Africa Global Logistics is hiring a Quality Officer to To identify and segregate non-conforming products in the warehouses. The role is based in Nairobi and training in MS Office suite is required.

Key Responsibilities

• To ensure quality issues on stocks and all warehouse operations.
• Performing daily checks on pallet on non-conformance and other related quality issues on factory receipts; prepare a monthly analysis and share it with the management
• Non-Conforming Products Management. To identify and segregate non-conforming products in the warehouses.
• Short Expiry Goods Documentation Processing. Process documents for goods with short expiry dates in the warehouse and ensure accurate recording and tracking of short expiry goods.
• STO Retrieval. To retrieves STOs (UD1 & KB1) as per operational requirements.
• Preparing customer related quality issues report and sharing the same with the management on a weekly basis.
• Inspection of goods returned from the market as either rejected by the client or damaged and prepare a customer complaint analysis.
• Interpret and support quality policies and implement guidelines to ensure compliance with quality standards and client’s requirements
• Conduct Quality risk assessments and develop mitigation measures and constantly evaluate the same for relevance
• Owner of root cause analysis in case of nonconforming batches to be submitted to management for further action
• Housekeeping inspection on a daily basis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Food Sciences or equivalent.
• Training in MS Office suite.
• 4 years related experience and/or training.
• Training in MS Office suite.
