Nursing Services Manager Job Consolata Hospital Nkubu, Kenya
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from a recognized institution.
- A valid registration and current practicing license issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
- A Higher Diploma in Nursing Administration, Health Services Management, Critical Care Nursing, Renal Nursing, Perioperative Nursing, Oncology Nursing, Anaesthesia, Midwifery, or another relevant nursing specialty will be an added advantage.
- A degree in Health Systems Management, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of seven (7) years’ progressive nursing experience, with at least three (3) years in a senior supervisory or management role within a reputable hospital.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practice standards, hospital quality management systems, infection prevention and control, and Ministry of Health regulations.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, budgeting, resource management, and performance management within nursing services.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- High standards of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and commitment to compassionate, patient-centred care.
- Proficiency in computer applications, data management, and report writing.
