Judicial Service Commission (JSC) is hiring a Member, HIV & AIDS Tribunal to provide professional guidance on health-related disputes, review cases involving HIV and AIDS matters, support fair decision-making, and promote compliance with health-related laws and policies. A Bachelor’s degree is required, relevant medical experience is required, and professional registration is required.

 Qualifications:

Under Section 25 (1)(c) of the HIV AND AIDS Prevention and Control Act No. 14 of 2006, applicants for the position of Member, of the HIV AND AIDS Tribunal – Medical Practioner must have the following minimum requirements: 

  • A Bachelor of Medicine and surgery or Bachelor of dental medicine and surgery or its equivalent from a university recognized in Kenya.
  • Post graduate training programme in a particular field of medicine or dentistry, as specialists under the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Act (Cap. 253); 
  • Has gained sufficient experience and demonstrated to the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council satisfaction adequate knowledge and skill in his chosen field; 
  • Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution on leadership and integrity.
