Our client is a dynamic, multi-branch organization in the manufacturing and distribution sector, recognized for its commitment to operational excellence, people development, and process innovation.

The Human Resources Manager will lead and oversee the HR function across the branches, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies, talent management strategies, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of strategic thinking, empathy, and operational efficiency to support a growing workforce while fostering a positive and disciplined organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal & Compliance

• Draft and issue formal HR communications, including disciplinary notices, warnings, and performance letters.
• Ensure compliance with Kenyan labor laws, contracts, and internal HR policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Support investigations and grievance procedures with professionalism and confidentiality.

Talent Development & Optimization

• Develop and oversee performance management frameworks and staff appraisal systems.
• Identify high-potential employees and create growth and retention strategies.
• Lead training, onboarding, and continuous professional development initiatives.
• Align workforce roles and responsibilities to optimize productivity and cost efficiency.

Strategic HR Leadership

• Advise management on organizational structure, succession planning, and workforce optimization.
• Lead HR analytics and reporting to guide decision-making.
• Promote company values and employee engagement through proactive HR initiatives.

Multi-Branch Coordination

• Conduct regular branch visits to ensure consistent HR practices and provide on-site support.
• Facilitate team-building sessions, staff audits, and compliance checks.
• Ensure communication flow and policy implementation across all locations.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR management, preferably in a multi-site or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of Kenyan labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
• Demonstrated success in talent development, employee engagement, and performance management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• High emotional intelligence, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems, Excel, and cloud-based collaboration tools.
