Hemingways Collection is seeking a Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Specialist who will be responsible for managing and enhancing the company’s digital presence and e-commerce performance across websites, CRM, content platforms, booking systems, and third-party channels. The role combines creative execution with commercial analysis to ensure brand consistency, seamless guest journeys, optimized online revenue, and strong alignment between the Marketing and Revenue teams.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with overall business and revenue goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing dynamics and consumer behavior.
  • Monitor industry shifts and recommend strategic adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate descriptions, amenities, pricing, inclusions and imagery across all systems and channels.
  • Ensure consistency of offers, seasonal promotions and T&Cs across Profit room and all partner platforms.
  • Monitor and optimise the entire booking journey to ensure clarity, speed and ease of use.
  • Identify and resolve friction points; improve layout, structure and user flow.
  • Analyse funnel behaviour and performance of offers, rate plans and packages.
  • Build and maintain offers, rate plans and packages.
  • Conduct parity checks and ensure alignment across direct channels and third-party platforms.
  • Support the launch of new promotions and tactical sales activity.
  • Produce booking engine, e-commerce and revenue performance reports.
  • Analyse customer behaviour, demand patterns and digital trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Define and track KPIs for all e-commerce initiatives and contribute to the Marketing Scorecard.
  • Ensure secure handling of guest data and adherence to privacy regulations.
  • Test booking flows, system updates and offer builds; troubleshoot issues with IT, Revenue and relevant system partners.
  • Stay informed on e-commerce standards and regulatory changes.
  • Maintain and update all website content, offers, pages, itineraries and blogs.
  • Upload monthly blogs with a strong SEO focus and refresh itineraries in line with trends, seasonality and business priorities.
  • Keep all digital content libraries, trade resources and website assets current, including photography, films, written content, factsheets, collateral and offers.
  • Maintain brand consistency, accurate information and up-to-date content across all external platforms, distribution partners, directories and trade channels.
  • Lead a full content, copy and imagery refresh across all external platforms and partner listings twice per year.
  • Build and send all email campaigns (trade, direct and resident).
  • Grow, segment and maintain the CRM database with monthly hygiene checks.
  • Report monthly on open rates, click-throughs and engagement trends.
  • Maintain the Marketing Collateral Audit and coordinate updates, printing and distribution.
  • Uphold brand standards across all digital touchpoints.
  • Oversee online customer queries through relevant teams; identify recurring issues and propose improvements.
  • Manage relationships with strategic partners, distribution channels and relevant industry platforms
  • 3–5 years’ relevant experience in digital marketing or e-commerce (hospitality experience advantageous).
  • Strong digital and e-commerce skills (website, CRM, SEO, analytics).
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear, confident written communication.
  • Data-driven, with the ability to interpret insights and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • Highly organised, deadline-driven and detail-oriented.
