Accounting Jobs, Elgeyo Marakwet CPSB Jobs. Responsible for examining expenditure, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, reconciling bank statements with cash books, responding to audit queries, supervising accounting staff, and supporting effective financial management. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with an Accounting or Finance option or CPA(K) Part III or an equivalent qualification. The position is based in Iten and requires on-site work.

Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, an applicant MUST have: –

•  A Bachelor’s Degree in either Commerce (Accounting/Finance option) and passed part II of the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Examination 

OR

•  Passed Part III of the Certified Public Accountants (K) Examination or its approved equivalent qualification
• Proficient in computer applications   

Key Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities: –

• Examining all expenditure at the accounts section; Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports e.g. COB reports, expenditure reports, cash flows; reconciling bank statements with cash books; answering audit queries and inquiries; Supervising and guiding staff under him/her and any other duties assigned from time to time.
