Corporate Staffing Toastmasters Club
Become a More Confident Speaker. A Stronger Communicator. A Better Leader.
What Is the Corporate Staffing Toastmasters Club?
The Corporate Staffing Toastmasters Club is a Toastmasters International club in Nairobi, Kenya, hosted by Corporate Staffing Services. It helps senior professionals and decision makers improve their communication, leadership and executive presence. The club meets on the second and fourth Friday of every month from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Who Is the Corporate Staffing Toastmasters Club For?
The higher you rise, the more your results depend on how you communicate. Board presentations, investor updates, town halls, media interviews and hard conversations with your team all reward the leader who is clear, composed and persuasive. Yet few senior people get honest feedback on how they come across.
The Corporate Staffing Toastmasters Club closes that gap. It brings together professionals at a similar level who want to practise in front of an audience that understands their world.
Our members include:
- C-suite executives, directors and heads of department who speak for their organisations
- Senior and middle managers preparing for bigger roles
- Business owners and entrepreneurs who pitch to clients, banks and investors
- Technical experts in finance, law, engineering and medicine who must explain complex ideas simply
- HR and learning leaders who want to model strong communication
What Do Members Gain From the Club?
1. Executive communication that moves people
Learn to structure a message, open strongly and land one clear point. You practice prepared speeches, presentations and impromptu answers until speaking under pressure feels routine.
2. Leadership skills you can apply on Monday
Every meeting role is a leadership exercise. You chair sessions, manage time, give constructive feedback and mentor others. These are the same skills you need to run meetings, coach teams and lead change.
3. Executive presence
Presence is a skill you can learn. Members work on voice, pace, body language and composure, then receive specific feedback from peers. Over time you walk into any room looking and sounding like the leader you are.
4. A network of peers
You build relationships with decision makers across industries in Kenya. The conversations after each meeting are often as valuable as the speeches.
How Does a Toastmasters Meeting Work?
Each session follows the proven Toastmasters format, so your time is used well.
- Prepared speeches. Members deliver short talks from the Toastmasters Pathways learning programme.
- Table Topics. Volunteers answer surprise questions for one to two minutes, building the ability to think on your feet.
- Evaluations. Every speaker receives structured, respectful feedback on what worked and what to improve.
You progress at your own pace and choose a learning path that fits your goals, from persuasive influence to strategic leadership.
