Packhouse QA Manager Job New Agrodeal
Agricultural Jobs, New Agrodeal Jobs. Responsible for overseeing quality assurance activities in the packhouse, monitoring food safety standards, inspecting produce, managing quality controls, and ensuring compliance with industry requirements. Requires a relevant qualification in food science, quality assurance, agriculture, or a related field. The position is based in Nairobi and requires on-site work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee quality control, grading and inspection across the packhouse floor
- Ensure compliance with GlobalG.A.P., HACCP and export market standards
- Lead internal audits and prepare the site for certification audits
- Investigate and resolve quality non-conformances and customer complaints
- Train and supervise QA/QC staff on standards and procedures
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Food Science, Agriculture or a related field
- Minimum 3 years’ QA experience in a packhouse or export horticulture setting
- Working knowledge of GlobalG.A.P., HACCP, BRC or similar standards
- Meticulous record-keeping and strong attention to detail
- Location: Solai, Nakuru County, Kenya | Full-time, on-site with travel as needed
