Packhouse Floor Manager Job New Agrodeal
Agricultural Jobs, New Agrodeal Jobs. Responsible for overseeing daily packhouse floor operations, coordinating staff, monitoring production activities, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring efficient handling and packing of produce. Requires a relevant qualification in agriculture, food processing, production management, or a related field. The position is based in Nairobi and requires on-site work.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee daily floor operations: receiving, sorting, grading and packing
- Manage staff shifts, productivity, discipline and on-the-job training
- Ensure produce handling meets hygiene, safety and quality standards
- Coordinate with QA, logistics and farm teams to meet dispatch schedules
- Monitor equipment, packaging materials and stock levels
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in agriculture, horticulture, operations or a related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience managing packhouse or production floor operations
- Strong people management and organisational skills
- Able to work under pressure to meet tight export deadlines
- Location: Solai, Nakuru County, Kenya | Full-time, on-site with travel as needed
