Who we are looking for:
We’re looking for a Senior Technical Lead to own the next phase of our product journey: evolving our MVP into a scalable, commercially viable SaaS platform ready for launch. You’ll work hand-in-hand with the Founders to translate vision into technical execution, lead hands-on development, and build the foundations for a product that can scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect & Deliver – Own the technical roadmap, architecture, and delivery from MVP through launch.
- Code & Build – Contribute directly to development with a strong focus on frontend and API integrations.
- Collaborate Closely – Work alongside the Founders to scope features, prioritize milestones, and bring a market-ready product to life.
- Integrate & Automate – Manage and integrate external APIs (social platforms, analytics, payments, messaging, etc.).
- Infrastructure at Scale – Set up serverless, cloud-native infrastructure leveraging AWS Amplify, Cognito, and related services.
- Mobile-First UX – Deliver a responsive, seamless user experience across web and mobile.
- Data & Insights – Implement tracking, analytics, and reporting to measure engagement, referrals, rewards, and other KPIs.
- Team Leadership – Recruit, mentor, and manage technical talent as the engineering team grows.
Qualifications:
Must-Have Technical Skills
- Proven full-stack engineering experience, ideally in SaaS startups.
- Strong proficiency in React/Next.js (frontend-first builder mindset).
- Hands-on expertise with AWS Amplify, Amazon Cognito, and cloud-native/serverless architectures.
- Experience integrating external APIs.
- Solid grounding in performance optimization, UX, and responsive design.
Leadership & Execution Skills
- Track record of leading development from zero-to-one (MVP → launch).
- Comfortable working directly with founders in lean, fast-paced environments.
- Strong technical project management and prioritization abilities.
- Experience recruiting, mentoring, or managing small engineering teams.
