Procurement Jobs. KMTC Jobs. Supply Chain Management Assistant III assisting in procurement processes, receiving and issuing inventory, maintaining stock records, and preparing bid documents, requiring a Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Purchasing and Supplies, and registration with KISM.

Duties and responsibilities at this level include

• carrying out data entry into the procurement and inventory management information systems;
• receiving, arranging, and issuing goods in the stores; participating in the inspection and receipt of goods;
• carrying out stocktaking and record reconciliation;
• ensuring security and safety in the store;
• maintaining stock and store records;
• ensuring orderliness in the store; and
• identifying obsolete stores and equipment for disposal. 

Qualifications

 For appointment to this level, a candidate must have: – 

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognised institution; 
• Membership to Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) or Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies (CIPS) and in good standing; and
• Proficiency in computer applications.
