We are seeking a creative and passionate Part-Time Social Media Officer to enhance our digital presence and engage our growing online community.
The Social Media Officer will manage and grow our brand presence across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. The ideal candidate will have experience in content creation, audience engagement, and digital marketing within the travel and tours industry. This role requires creativity, consistency, and a results-driven approach to help Queensway Escapades expand its reach and attract new clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan, and execute engaging content (images, reels, stories, videos, captions) for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Manage daily posting, monitoring, and responding to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms.
- Increase brand visibility, followers, and engagement rates through creative campaigns and consistent posting.
- Leverage travel and tourism trends to create appealing and relevant content.
- Collaborate with the team to promote travel packages, offers, and destinations.
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for growth.
- Stay updated with social media best practices, tools, and trends.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Communications, Tourism, or related field (preferred).
- 1–2 years proven experience managing social media accounts in the travel and tours industry.
- Strong content creation skills (photography, videography, editing, copywriting).
- Proficiency in social media tools (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook Business Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar).
- Creativity and ability to adapt content to suit different platforms.
- Strong communication and engagement skills.
- Results-oriented, with proven ability to grow online communities.
