People Coordinator Job

Your mission at Sistema.bio:

The People Coordinator will coordinate and review the People Operations, which include fostering positive employee relations, promoting a safety culture, driving talent development initiatives, overseeing policy adherence and awareness, coordinating employee engagement activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic support to the People Manager.

You’ll be in charge of:

  • Policy Awareness and Adherence: Driving organisation-wide understanding of HR policies through effective communication and documentation. Managing the distribution and signing of the HR handbook, tracking compliance, and ensuring all employees acknowledge and understand company policies.
  • Employee Relations: Providing comprehensive support to line managers throughout the disciplinary process. Guide managers through proper procedures, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain confidentiality while collaborating with the people manager to achieve fair resolutions.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Support the People Manager with salary surveys, and manage the compensation review process. Quality check payroll data before sending for approval. Manage the benefits process, including enrolment and managing the medical cover provider relationship.
  • Talent capability management: Ensure Sistema.bio has the right number and quality of employees through talent acquisition strategies and Learning and Development initiatives.
  • Support the People Manager with HR projects.
  • People Operations Administration and Coordination.

More about YOU:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related fields.
  • An HR Certification or CHRP-K and IHRM membership are required.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in human resources management or people-related processes.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to provide excellent client service in a cross-cultural context.
  • Must be passionate about people.
