We’re looking for a smart, energetic HR Officer to support our growing Kenyan team. This is not your typical old-school HR role — you’ll be building scalable people operations, not pushing paper. You’ll help us attract top talent, support employee success, and contribute to a strong, values-driven team culture.

People Operations

  • Own the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, documentation
  • Maintain HR records, contracts, leave schedules, and compliance files
  • Coordinate performance reviews and feedback loops
  • Help improve people systems, tools, and processes

Talent & Hiring

  • Assist with recruitment: screening, scheduling, coordination
  • Work with hiring managers to move fast and find great people
  • Keep the candidate experience top-tier and human

Culture & Engagement

  • Organize internal team events, learning sessions, and employee check-ins
  • Be a go-to person for team support and pulse-checks
  • Reinforce our values and inclusive, entrepreneurial culture

Who You Are

  • 2–3 years’ experience in HR, talent, people ops, or a startup/tech support role
  • Proactive, curious, and execution-oriented
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with HR tech tools, Google Workspace, and Slack
  • Not afraid to roll up your sleeves — and have fun doing it
  • Bonus: Experience in fintech, startups
